Good question as I don't think everyone understood the process has changed requiring the board to propose a Constitution change.  As mentioned in the Constitution and By-Laws recommendation handout, we clearly needed to update the By-Laws that stated the conductor is paid by the City of Beaverton. That is not the case anymore, the city sends a quarterly payment to the BCB Treasurer which is deposited into BCB account. BCB pays the conductor directly for his rehearsal and performances. This is contained in the agreement also referenced in the Constitution and By-Law changes. I hope this answers the question sufficiently.
